1. Introduction

Welcome to Lockz (“Lockz”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a free-to-play fantasy sports platform available at https://lockz.com (the “Platform”).

The Platform is operated by LOCKZ FS SRL, a company duly incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, Corporate ID No. 3-102-928315 (“Company”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the Platform (21+ where required by applicable law).

By using Lockz, you confirm that:

• You meet the applicable age requirement; and
• You are legally permitted to use the Platform in your jurisdiction.

3. Free-to-Play Nature

Lockz is currently offered as a free-to-play beta platform.

• No real money is required to participate
• No real-money prizes, payouts, or withdrawals are offered
• No deposits or payment processing are supported

Any points, rankings, virtual items, or rewards displayed on the Platform have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or prizes.

4. Skill-Based Contests

All contests available on Lockz are skill-based fantasy sports contests.

Contest outcomes are determined by user decisions, sports knowledge, and real-world athlete performance. Chance does not play a material role in determining results.

5. Beta Status

The Platform is provided in beta. This means that:

• Features may be modified, added, or removed at any time
• Contest rules and formats may change
• Data, rankings, or user accounts may be reset
• Platform availability is not guaranteed

Lockz makes no guarantees regarding continuity, accuracy, or performance during the beta phase.

6. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity conducted through your account

You agree not to:

• Share or transfer your account
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts
• Manipulate results, leaderboards, or gameplay

Lockz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Fair Play & Prohibited Conduct

Users must engage with the Platform fairly and honestly.

Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Cheating or exploiting system vulnerabilities
• Collusion with other users
• Automated or artificial gameplay
• Abuse of the Platform or other users

Lockz may take corrective action at its sole discretion, including account suspension or termination.

8. No Gambling or Betting

Lockz does not offer gambling, betting, or wagering services.

The Platform does not:

• Accept bets or wagers
• Offer odds or betting markets
• Facilitate monetary gambling activity

9. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design elements, trademarks, logos, and materials available on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Lockz and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

10. Third-Party Trademarks

Lockz is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any professional sports league, team, athlete, or governing body.

All team names, player names, logos, and trademarks are used solely for identification and informational purposes.

11. User Content

By submitting content (including usernames, feedback, or communications), you grant Lockz a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use such content for platform operation and improvement.

12. Availability & Jurisdiction

The Platform may not be available in all jurisdictions.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with applicable local laws and regulations.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Lockz makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Accuracy or completeness of data
• Platform availability or reliability
• Fitness for any particular purpose

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform.

15. Modifications to Terms

Lockz may update these Terms at any time.

Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Termination

Lockz reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or for operational reasons.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica, without regard to conflict of law principles.
